Exploring the Future of Robotic Intimacy: The Fascinating World of Sex Robots and Human Relationships.

The findings of a 2021 study suggest that individuals who engage in more sexual fantasies, masturbate frequently, consume porn, play video games, and use alcohol or marijuana tend to have more interest in having sex with a robot and look forward to the availability of sex robots. Additionally, those who have positive views on prostitution also tend to have more interest in sex robots.

The research also indicates that individuals who feel comfortable communicating their needs in bed, experience pressure to perform sexually, feel their partner is attracted to them naked, get aroused by pleasing their partner sexually, find it difficult to initiate sex due to fear of rejection, and have concerns about being a satisfactory lover tend to have more positive attitudes towards sex robots. Furthermore, those who find adventurous sex practices appealing also hold more positive attitudes towards sex robots.

The study discusses how various emotional and behavioral variables such as depression, social anxiety, attention deficit disorder (ADD), Asperger’s spectrum challenges, monogamy issues, lifetime sex partners, frequency of masturbation, pornography consumption, alcohol and marijuana use, and video game usage correlate with more positive attitudes towards sex robots.

Overall, the research suggests that multiple factors contribute to positive attitudes towards sex robots, including both positive and negative emotional states and behaviors related to sexual experiences. The study acknowledges limitations in the research methodology and the need for further exploration of the complex variables influencing attitudes towards sex robots as society navigates potential changes in human intimate relationships with the introduction of advanced sex technology.
