New research has revealed that July is the steamiest month of the year—literally and figuratively! According to a survey by LoveHoney, people enjoy the most bedroom activity in July, getting busy an average of four times a week.
Nearly 22% of couples reported that July is their sexiest month, primarily because summer holidays make them feel more relaxed. The survey, which included 2,000 participants, also found that August and June are close contenders for bedroom fun, making summer the peak season for intimacy. Two-thirds of couples said they engage in more sexual activity while away from home.
On the flip side, November and January are the months with the least action, likely due to colder temperatures. Interestingly, December and February buck the trend, possibly inspired by Christmas and Valentine’s Day. LoveHoney’s spokesperson explained that sexual activity increases in summer because people feel happier and more optimistic in warmer weather.
